Manobala was born on December 8th, 1953, in Tamil Nadu, India. He started his career as a theatre artist and later moved to the film industry. He made his debut in the Tamil film industry with the movie “Nenjathai Killathe” in 1980. However, he gained recognition for his comic roles in movies like “Pandiyan” and “Chinna Thambi” in the late 1980s.
