Atharva Taide is a promising Indian cricketer who hails from Nagpur, Maharashtra. He was born on 9th September 1998. Taide is a left-handed opening batsman who also bowls right-arm off-breaks. He made his debut for the Vidarbha cricket team in the 2017-18 Ranji Trophy season.

Taide started playing cricket at a young age and was a part of the Vidarbha Under-16 team. He continued to excel at the Under-19 level and was eventually selected for the India Under-19 team for the 2018 World Cup. He played a crucial role in India’s campaign, scoring 471 runs in the tournament, including a century against Australia in the quarterfinals.

After his impressive performance in the Under-19 World Cup, Taide was signed by the Kings XI Punjab for the 2018 Indian Premier League (IPL). However, he did not get a chance to play a single game for the franchise.

Taide has not yet made his international debut, but he was a part of the India A team that toured the West Indies in 2019. He played in two unofficial Tests and scored 104 runs, including a half-century.
