Johnny Drille is a Nigerian singer and songwriter, born on July 5, 1990, in Edo State, Nigeria. His real name is John Ighodaro, but he is popularly known by his stage name, Johnny Drille.

He grew up in a Christian home and attended the University of Benin, where he studied English and Literature. During his university days, he was part of a music group called “Souls of Perception,” where he discovered his love for singing and songwriting.
