Matheesha Pathirana is a Sri Lankan cricketer who was born on October 28, 2002, in Dambulla, Sri Lanka. He is a right-arm fast bowler and made his international debut for Sri Lanka in a One Day International (ODI) against Bangladesh on May 23, 2021.

Pathirana started playing cricket at a young age and made his first-class debut for Dambulla District in the 2019-20 season pop of the Sri Lanka Cricket Inter-Provincial Tournament. He then went on to represent the Sri Lanka under-19 team in the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
