Sheriff Oborevwori Biography, wikipedia, age and career
Sheriff Oborevwori is a renowned Nigerian politician who hails from Delta State and currently serves as the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly. He was born on December 10, 1968, in Okpara, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.
Oborevwori obtained his primary education at Ohoro Primary School, Okpara-Inland, and proceeded to Ufuoma Secondary School, Utagba-Ogbe, for his secondary education. He later attended the University of Calabar, where he bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology, and a Master’s degree in Political Science.
Upon the completion of his academic pursuits, Sheriff Oborevwori ventured into politics and served in various capacities before his current position as Speaker. He was a two-time Chairman of Okpe Local Government Area and also served as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Delta State Government.
In 2015, Oborevwori contested for the Delta State House of Assembly, to represent Okpe Constituency, and emerged victorious. He was subsequently re-elected in 2019, and in June of the same year, he was elected as the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly.
As the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Oborevwori has distinguished himself as a competent leader with vast experience in legislation and governance. He has initiated and supported various bills and motions that have positively impacted the lives of the people of Delta State.
In his spare time, Oborevwori enjoys reading and playing sports. He is also a family man and is married with children.
